Rachel Walter

Vice President, Human Resources

Rachel has more than 25 years’ of experience in human resources, including 18 years in the technology sector of both entrepreneurial as well as established organizations with domestic and global operations. Prior to joining BrainScope, Ms. Walter served as the top Human Resource executive for Videology, Inc., where she built and expanded the HR infrastructure of Videology into the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions. During her time at Videology, Ms. Walter successfully created a global human capital function that attracted, engaged, and developed the best and brightest talent, focusing on delivering business results through organization design, leadership development and employee empowerment.

Prior to joining Videology, Ms. Walter held HR roles within eBay’s Mergers & Acquisition team, supporting the acquisition of GSI Commerce for $2.4 billion in 2011 and other transactions. Ms. Walter has also served in HR leadership roles in privately-held startups such as Bill Me Later, Inc. and Advertising.com.  Bill Me Later was acquired by eBay, Inc. for $820 million in 2008 and Advertising.com, Inc. was purchased by AOL, Inc. for $435 million in 2004.  In both transactions she served in a leadership role on the integration team and then transitioned to serve as a Senior Human Resource Business Partner to the newly formed organization. Prior to these roles, Ms. Walter built her Human Resource career in telecom, healthcare and financial services serving in HR specialty roles at CIENA Corporation, Anne Arundel Medical Center, University Physicians Inc, and Zurich Financial Services.

Ms. Walter holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Towson University, a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from Johns Hopkins University and has received senior professional certification from the Society of HR Management (SHRM).  Rachel joined BrainScope in early 2018.
